Douglas Hands Drillers First Loss
May 27, 2009 by Coach Simms
Douglas got off to a quick start handing the Drillers their first loss 11-1. The Cats rallied early batting through their line-up and scoring 9 runs in the 3rd. However, Clay Brownell came in strong quieting the roar, not giving up any hits and only one earned run in 4 2/3 innings. William Cardova provided most of Casper’s little offense going 2-2 with a pair of singles.
The Dirllers have a big weekend coming up. Hosting Cheyenne Saturday at 1:00 & 3:30 PM at Crossroads, and traveling to Gillette for another douple dip on Sunday.
