Oilers Drop Three Straight

May 25, 2009 by Coach Schoonover

The Casper Oilers dropped their last three games in the Spring Classic Tournament in Gillette, WY over Memorial Day weekend. The Oilers lost to the Laramie Rangers 13-9 and the Gillette Roughriders 12 to 4 on Sunday.  Those two losses put Casper at the number four seed for Monday’s game against the Laramie Rangers.  The Rangers got the best of the Oilers again, 12 to 2.

The Oilers will look to move on after falling to 2-5 on the young season as they will take on the Sheridan Troopers on Saturday, May 30th, as part of Sponsor Appreciation Day at Lansing Field. The Oilers will also host the Gillette Roughriders at home on Sunday, May 31st.  Game times are posted under the schedule tab.
